Georges Fischer has been  the chair of the World Chambers Network since 1997, and also is a senior advisor, Digital strategy committee, to the World Trade Centres’ Association in New York. 

Mr. Fischer served as Director for international networks and partnerships of the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry on international institutional cooperation, funding, export facilitation (certificates of origin, ATA carnets) and networks management (EEN, ASCAME, CPCCAF, WCF, WCN, WTC). 

Mr. Fischer has directed projects for the Paris CCI, Francophone - African CCI’s association, UN and others. He is a Co-founder and senior advisor for Next @ction (Paris and St. Stail, France) and has extensive experience in ICT consultancy, e-strategy & e-international trade. 

Mr. Fischer has taught strategy, finance and project management for MBAs at HEC and ISC who major in entrepreneurship, and MBAs at Novancia business school. Mr. Fischer is Chevalier in the Ordre du Merite. He is also the founder of Fischer Corporate Consulting International.
  

 

  
After completing his M.A. in Applied Economics, Joachim Knauf worked in that field for the private and public sectors for over a decade, 

This included  directing R+D projects in economics and authoring and coauthoring publications on labour market economics, the rise of Asia Pacific trade and the impact of digitization and globalization on our economies as far back as the "80ies"

He subsequently co-founded a business software firm in 1997, and is its President & CEO. In addition to almost twenty years in business -related software, Mr. Knauf has designed several prototype, record- breaking computer hardware systems.

Mr. Knauf has been a Director and CTO of the World Chambers Network since 2004, and has been president of CTMI since 2003.

He also serves as a senior advisor to companies and organizations in the private and public sectors on digitization of knowledge-based assets, e-trade and the impact of disruptive technologies.

 

 

  
Dr. Roslyn Kunin is the principal of Roslyn Kunin and Associates, Inc. and a Policy advisor to senior levels of government…author of multidisciplinary analyses…and speaker at numerous symposia through the National Speaker’s Bureau, 

Dr. Kunin was chair of the board of directors of the Haida Enterprise Corporation and has been a Director of the Business Development Bank of Canada, chair of the Workers Compensation Board of British Columbia. She has also served as the Chair of the Vancouver Stock Exchange, Governor of the University of British Columbia and has served the community as Chair of the Vancouver Crisis Centre, and as Vice President of the YWCA. 

Dr Kunin holds the Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee medal and an honorary Doctor of Laws degree from the University of Victoria and the Order of Canada.

 

  
Earl Drake is a former Canadian ambassador to China and Indonesia, president of the Canada China Business Council, and project director of the China Council for International Cooperation on Environment and Development. 

Earl Drake is currently an honorary professor at UBC's Institute of Asian Research and also lectures at Simon Fraser University

Earlier in his government career, he served as the senior Canadian representative to the OECD in Paris.

Earl was also a director  at the World Bank in Washington, and an assistant deputy minister at the Department of External Affairs, as vice-president of CIDA in Ottawa and as a diplomat in Karachi and Kuala Lumpur

Francis Pope is a Senior VP at Echelon Wealth Partners, based in Toronto.

With close to 40 years in the financial services industry in Canada and Europe, Francis spent the majority of that time, from 1981 to 2015, as President and CEO of Pope & Company, a capital markets and asset management company.

Prior, Francis worked for Singer & Friedlander, a Merchant Bank in London, U.K.

In 2015, Francis joined forces with Europac, the predecessor to Echelon Wealth Partners.

 

 

  
Bill Cunningham is a  District Vice President for TD Commercial Banking.
  
Prior, Bill also served as the Executive Director and Senior Advisor for the Government of Canada’s Minister’s Regional Office in BC.

In addition, he is the immediate past Chair of the Board of Governors of Simon Fraser University.

He is currently on the Board of Directors of the Down Syndrome Research Foundation and has also served on the boards of the SFU Alumni Association, the Vancouver Society of Children’s Centres, TD Friends of the Environment Foundation, and the InnerChange Foundation. 

Bill  holds a master of business administration, and a bachelor of commerce.

 

  
Bryon Sackville is the Canadian General Manager of PelicanCorp, an international IT company based in Australia. 

He served as a commercial representative on several government boards and committees. Mr. Sackville has been a key note speaker and conducted training sessions on various industry topics.  .

Prior to joining PelicanCorp, Mr. Sackville was the President & the CEO of the Ontario Regional Common Ground Alliance and also served as Vice President of a privately held utility contracting firm. 

During his career, Bryon also held several others senior management positions in the banking and financial services sectors.

Bryon is a graduate of Trent University, Peterborough, and his CTMI association goes back many years.

 
 

  
Ian MacLeod has had a varied career, ranging from logging to bank management and corporate law...

At Scotia Bank, he  focused on administration, commercial lending and management. After returning to school for a law degree, he eventually became a partner at Lawson Lundell, LLP, a firm with over 100 lawyers and active in international business. 

He practiced mainly in the areas of commercial lending, secured transactions (usually in major project financings) and asset securitization and often instructed programs and published papers on loan commitment letters and on mortgages and secured lending.

Ian MacLeod served as Chair, BC Chamber of Commerce and is a Fellow of The British Columbia Chamber of Commerce. He was also awarded a life membership, Vancouver Board of Trade. 

Ian MacLeod was also awarded 
The Queen’s Golden Jubilee Medal and the Governor General of Canada “Canada 125” Medal.

Tony Wanless has had a distinguished career as a business journalist that spanned over many decades. Most recently, Mr. Wanless wrote a regular column for well over a decade, for the Financial Post on business matters.

In addition, Mr. Wanless started and manages businesses in the entrepreneurial analysis, social media and communication fields, including knowpreneur.net.

Tony also blogs focus on Practical Creativity, Innovation and Reinvention.
